ok...good news first!

we are officially homeowners!!! i cannot believe it. this whole process seemed to have flown by. we closed on monday, after much difficulty, but we got it done. the builder is still working on some last minute things, but he has promised to get them all done, and we trust him...something about that strange aggie bond! saturday is move in day, crazy! i haven't been able to get too terribly excited about it yet, but my last final is tomorrow, and then i will be on cloud 9! summer school was a killer, but it was worth it in the end. plus, my christianty and ethics class brought up some tough questions and i was able to figure out exactly what i believed in regards to those things. so that was awesome. anyways, i feel like i haven't taken pictures of the house in forever, but it definitely looks way different than my last post about it, so here are some more pics...

the kitchen is my favorite room! here's the cabinet color and granite...

now with the backsplash and black appliances...

here's our front porch (before it was painted)

this color is throughout the whole house, except our bedroom.

here is the tile that is in the entry, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.

this is after they poured our driveway and sidewalk...
the porch was primed, but still not painted
here's the little but of landscaping we get...we get the
privilege of sodding the whole acre ourselves! woopie!

here's a little example of the color/look or our fixtures.
we love our dining room! if only we had furniture to put in it! :)

ok...that's it. as you can see i did not take pictures for last couple of weeks. so we now have carpet, ac, electricity, shutters, etc. we can move in! thanks so much for all of your prayers. this has been such an adventure, and we look forward to see how God will use us in our new neighborhood. I hope you all can come visit very soon!
